Engaging Your Story with Hope.
My desire is to walk alongside you toward deeper healing and wholeness in your life and relationships.
Anna Kynast, LPCC
I am committed to providing a space for clients to be seen and heard. I believe that as humans we are whole beings, created with dignity and complexity in mind, body, and soul. In light of this, my goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for clients to explore their stories, learn about themselves, and experience flourishing as they move toward greater emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
We are wired for connection, and I believe that it is within the context of relationships that we experience both harm and healing. My hope is that the therapeutic relationship formed in the counseling room can provide the safety and security needed to address the past and present difficulties of life.
A tailored approach to your unique story and needs.
My approach to therapy practice draws from multiple modalities. I am trauma-informed, highly relational, psychodynamic, and grounded in an understanding of attachment theory. While our work together may explore the treatment of certain symptoms, I am careful not to merely address surface-level issues in a way that minimizes the complexity of who you are. My goal is to help you consider the deeper underlying realities that may be hindering you from true and lasting growth.
In addition to my commitment to clinically-sound therapy and current best practices in the field of counseling, I am guided by my Christian faith and belief that God is redeeming all things. I work to integrate this perspective for those that desire it, but welcome clients from all faith backgrounds.
